That's right, it's PHPAskIt upgrade time. Since I have some time off work (and it's been a year since the last version), I thought I'd spend some time on it... So what do you want it to do? I've already been told it needs to have HTML capabilities put back into it, extra AJAXy shinyness, and a way to make it so that it's not so finicky about WordPress with integration into WP Pages and all that - maybe make it a plugin or something. Also requested is extra spam protection, a way to move the search box and complete customisation of, well, everything.
Thoughts? Ideas? Anything?
(Sorry for the tirade of PAI-related entries of late - it'll stop at some point)

Well... my most pressing matter was the lack of HTML capabilities.
Not so keen on having ajaxy shinyness, unless it's useful. I mean it's pretty basic design for the admin panel.
Other than that, I had some problems specifying the path to the header and footer files. In the end, I think I just copied them in the pai folder... it would be an idea to let absolute paths be specified.

^ You can specify absolute paths... That's what I'm using in all versions of the script...

I also agree with the pretty URLs, but have an option for that. What would you add to make it more AJAXy shiny?

^ Dunno yet, but that's what's been requested... I'll probably make it do deletion and category changes on the fly or something.

The plugin thing sounds nice. :)
